adjunct Maintenance Manager:Job description:Job location: Bath Campus Infrastructure wish to appoint an adjunct Maintenance Manager with primary responsibility to assist the General Maintenance Manager to rectify and diagnose a broad range of building related defects/problems and alterations. This will include: » the management of regulatory compliance » PPM activity, using the in house staff and contractors » undertaking routine and legislative checks » ensuring compliance with the University's Health & Safety policy » obtaining formal quotations and/or tenders from external contractors, » monitoring the quality of works on site, » checking invoices before payment, » maintaining records of repairs and correspondence for strict auditing purposes. You should have: » a good standard of education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics or a significant NVQ » Facilities Management-related qualification or equivalent significant practice » ISOH Managing Safely or equivalent more information This is a full-time function working 36.5 hours per week, falling between 08:00 and 18:00, to be worked flexibly as required by operational needs, Monday to Friday.
