Job Opportunity: Senior Product Manager:Job description:Job location: Milton Keynes, Hybrid Closing Date: 24 May 2024 - 12:00 noon Flexible working patterns will be considered. It is anticipated that a hybrid working pattern can be adopted for this function, where the prosperous candidate can work in the house and the office. However, as this function is contractually aligned to our Milton Keynes office it is expected that some attendance in the office will be required when necessary and in response to business needs. Digital Services are responsible for the digital information, systems and technologies used by staff and students across The Open University. Covering all aspects of digital technology at the OU, from sourcing and maintaining systems, through to providing frontline IT support for staff and students. The function We have a great opportunity for an practiced Senior Product Manager to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, which will be located within Digital Services. The initial focus of this function will be to support the Student Services Portfolio whose ambition it is to ensure services and products are highly customer-centric and designed with the user (whether student or colleague) in mind ensuring best possible results. These functions all require practice of working with agile methodology, of leading, coaching and bringing out the best in your people. We are seeking for those who enjoy collaborating with a team and have practice of working on the full lifecycle of products, from ideation to development, from delivery to operation and continuing improvement with a view to making the user practice a positive one. expertise and practice this function will suit you if you: » Are an practiced practitioner in product management across end-to-end services, preferably with customer-focused digital products. » Possess practice of engaging with users and using qualitative and quantitative data to identify how their needs can be met by products and services. » Have excellent stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation expertise. » Can demonstrate expertise and practice of Agile methodology and adapting techniques as necessary to achieve the desired results.
