The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences provides a vibrant and innovative environment and is made up of five academic departments: Rehabilitation and Sport Sciences, Medical Science and Public Health, Nursing Science, Midwifery and Health Sciences, and Social Sciences and Social Work. We have a great position to further align our teaching and research portfolio toward BU's 2025 strategic investment areas and applications are invited for the function of Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science. To succeed in the function, you will be able to demonstrate a contemporary knowledge and knowledge of current practice in your area. You will be enthusiastic about student-centred pedagogy and you will contribute to education delivery, including programme management as required, across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will be engaged in research and knowledge-exchange activities which may include innovative CPD, short course activities and developing personal areas of research scholarship and professional skills. You will also make a significant contribution to employcapability, and professional engagement with significant internal and external organisations, at a regional, national and international level. You will be qualified to doctorate level or be able to demonstrate the capability to create and disseminate knowledge at an equivalent level (i.e. research publications).
