Offer: Doctoral College Administrator (DClinPsy):Job description:Job location: Hatfield FTE: 0.6fte, working 22.2 hours per week. Duration of Contract: 1-year fixed term contract income: UH5 £27,181pa to £30,487pa by annual increments on achieving designated expertise and practice Annual Leave: 25 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year Job location: College Lane Campus, Hatfield Main tasks & responsibilities You will be responsible for all administration connected with Research Degrees students, with specific responsibility for the administration of key aspects of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) programme, which will involve working closely with the Director of the programme and the academic programme team. You will act as clerk to any designated meetings, assist with the development and implementation of administrative procedures for research students, assist will all matters relating to the admission, enrolment and student record keeping of research students, and specifically DClinPsy students. expertise and practice needed You will be highly motivated, proactive, flexible to requirements. Accuracy and attention to detail are key requirements within this function. You may have significant administrative practice in a complex and dynamic organisation, and practice of working in Higher Education administration is desirable. Your application will evidence good IT expertise and that you are numerate and literate. You will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of customer care with a polite, valuable and confident telephone manner. The capability to collect, process and present complex data is key. Tact and diplomacy, with the capability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality is crucial. You will be required to work flexibly and adaptably, being effective in a team setting, with a can-do attitude. You'll have the capability to adapt to changing circumstances, processes and institutional culture and to be proactive in promoting change.
