Offer: Chef Lecturer 1FTE:Job description:Job location: Nuneaton The award winning NWSLC Catering & Hospitality Department are looking to recruit a Chef Lecturer to joint our ambitious and creative team. The current provision includes the highly acclaimed Glegegate Restaurant and our recently reimagined Glebe Street food outlet, both of which are staffed by our students. We are seeking for a Chef who wants to share their expertise and industry expertise to develop the next generation through high quality teaching, learning and assessment and continued involvement in competitions. The prosperous applicant will be an practiced and prosperous Chef who is well versed in both contemporary and classic techniques and will be responsible for training and facilitating during busy service at both lunchtimes and evenings and delivering high quality and ambitious theory sessions. What expertise are we looking for: » Industry practice » A multitasker -you must be able to work on various projects at the same time » A creative thinker -you will have the freedom to bring new ideas to the table and run with them » Enthusiasm towards additional projects and competitions » Classic and contemporary expertise » Industry practice » Preparedness to go that extra mile-a key feature of the industry.
