The function
The School of Physiology, Pharmacology, and Neuroscienceat the University of Bristolisseeking to appointa Lecturer in Physiology (ACAD107454). You are expected to have a track record of high-quality research in that focuses on using in vivo approaches to investigate systems/integrative physiology or experimental medicine. This may be applied to: exercise, metabolism and nutrition; cardiopulmonary control; thermoregulation; autonomic control of organ dysfunction in health and disease; or metabolomic investigations of clinical disorders that can link into our research themes including (but not limited to) cardiovascular, respiratory gastrointestinal and renal conditions, diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis. An interest in the development of bio-informatic approaches would be desirable, as would development of research programmes with clinical academic researchers if appropriate.

The recruitment of this additional post is due to the growth of the School where we have appointed 9 research staff since 2021.
