Lecturer/adjunct Professor in Children's Nursing, 12 months:Job description:Job location: Dublin - Ireland Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer/adjunct Professor in Children's Nursing within UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems The School University College Dublin is a research-intensive and globally-engaged university and is No. 1 in Ireland in the QS Graduate Employcapability rankings. The UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems is a constituent School of the UCD College of Health and Agricultural Sciences. The School is a national provider of undergraduate and postgraduate registration education programmes in nursing and midwifery and graduate-taught programmes in health systems and health professions' education. Its programmes emphasise clinical skills, critical inquiry, leadership abilities development, personal growth, communication, teamwork, interprofessional collaboration, and lifelong learning. The School is a leading research-intensive school with a large portfolio of programmatic and single-project research. UCD Nursing is ranked in the top one hundred in the QS World Subject Rankings. The position The School wishes to appoint a Lecturer/adjunct Professor in Children's Nursing to contribute to teaching, curriculum design and enhancement and academic administration on the School's undergraduate and graduate-taught programmes, and to work with clinical personnel and other external partners in supporting student learning. In addition to teaching and administrative tasks, the post holder will engage in research and scholarship in the discipline and will contribute to the development of the School's research agenda. located on level of prior practice, the post holder will be expected to assume leadership abilities responsibilities as assigned by the Dean and 95 Lecturer / adjunct Professor (above the bar) income scale: €61,617 -97,572 per annum Appointment will be made on scale and in conformity with the Department of Finance guidelines Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on the 22nd of May 2024 Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
