Background
this function sits with the Student Recruitment and Marketing team within the Marketing and External Relations Department. We are responsible for planning and delivering City's undergraduate and postgraduate marketing and student recruitment activities in the UK and overseas. this function is part of the International and Postgraduate Marketing team, who are responsible for promoting City and its postgraduate course portfolio in the UK and international markets to increase student leads, applications and enrolments.
Responsibilities
You will contribute to the delivery of City's PG marketing plan, working on marketing and communications activities, including email marketing, content creation, CRM, advertising, research and insights, recruitment events promotion and web-content. You will work in close collaboration with other Marketing agents and staff from across the University, with responsibility to implement targeted campaigns focused on either the pre application stage.
Person Specification
You will have practice of working in a Higher Education marketing function with robust expertise of the education sector, the postgraduate market and student journey. practice of working on marketing and communications activities is required, especially email marketing, content creation, multi-channels campaigns, and managing end to end projects . The function requires strong organisation, communication and interpersonal expertise. Excellent copywriting and proofreading expertise and a great eye for detail are required along with the capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
