The School of Medicine, University of Nottingham is looking to appoint a Senior Research Technician to join the Digital Cancer Screening Research Group in Translational Medical Sciences.
this function willprovide specialistdigitaltechnical support to the Digital Cancer Screening Research Group, planning andsuperviseingthe day-to-day running of studies, allocatingresources,and providing technical supervision and training in the use of equipment and techniques.It requires the use ofspecialist expertise and expertiseto developmenttechniques and processesthat willprovide support and guidance for research projectsin Digital Screening and Artificial Intelligence. The function will assist senior colleagues in the development of computer science, digital laboratory techniques and processes utilising your expertise and expertise. The function holder will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication expertise.
The function is available on a fixed-term basis for 6 months. Hours of work are part-time (21.75 hours). this function is located at the Clinical Sciences Building, City Hospital Campus.
Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment function.
